Koalas and roundabouts.

I went with Shaun to the hospital at Redcliffe today, and, on the way home, when we came to the roundabout where you turn to go on to the highway, a koala ran out in front of us. was that at the Rothwell roundabout? we have koalas in the trees at the land behind us but i rarely see them. Mostly we see the roos that live there too. There's a mob of about 10 or so that live there... maybe more cause i think there were a couple of mum roos with joeys in their pouches.

Um, if the Rothwell roundabout is the one you take to go to North Lakes, then yes, it was. :D

I love seeing roos and koalas in the wild. Not so much when they're running out on the road though. That just saddens me.

We have a couple of emus, some roos, and we used to have dingoes before the government poisoned them all, but Bribie is koala-free, so living so close to them would be such a novelty to me. You're lucky.
