Slinky has an unerring sense of when Sara doesn't need a cat on her lap. That's usually her top choice for demanding lap time.

i'm typing from beneath my kitty oso the smushie. she's had her in-bed lap-time, is getting her computer lap-time, will later demand studio(during which she will insist upon making all my paint tubes hers by rolling on them) and sewing machine(meaning "sit behind the warm machine and play with the bobbin" time) lap-time and will likely finish off the day with evening movie with mom and dad lap-time, not to mention all supplementary lap-times throughout the rest of the day.

she's not a lap-cat at all, oh no.
