I stayed there once. Eesh.

Good news is, you're easy walking distance to Tadich Grill. Eat there. Twice, if necessary. Also, pop across the street and go to "The View," the high-up bar in the Marriott. Enjoy the view both day and night. Well worth it.

It's not like I was actually given a choice. This is where the travel-arranger booked us, based on location and cost. And honestly, it's not like I'm planning to have wild parties in here. The room is going to be a place for me to geek out and sleep off a day at the show, and that's about it...

The second time I was in SF I stayed at the Adelaide, which had no private bathrooms. (The first time I had gone to visit a girlfriend for a week and stayed with her.)

Also visit Michelangelo if you get the chance. One of the few restaurants I'd rather go pay for pasta than cook it myself.
