Sam nervously adjusted his tie once more, the suit feeling more and more uncomfortable the longer time went on. He knew the suit, despite it being a recently re-fitted hand-me-down, wasn't to blame...nor was the tie. No, it definately had more to do with the fact that Sam was far beyond nervous about meeting his girlfriend's father.

A man that could probably buy and sell his house...his school...probably his entire life twenty times over and then by a fleet of yachts. And Sam was dating his gorgeous, genius, supersoldier daughter....

Sam was beyond feeling outclassed, he felt absolutely insignifigant.

"Hey, stop fidgeting," Bea said, smiling as she walked over to smooth Sam's tie down for him with a click of her heels.

"You look great and Daddy's gonna love you," she assured him before leaning to kiss his cheek lightly.

"...Or he'll send me to a far off island where I'll never be heard of again..." Sam joked weakly, letting his shoulders go with a sigh of defeat.

"...You look way better than I do." He commented at her kiss, kissing her back softly and glancing at her outfit.

"Daddy's really nice, I promise!" Bea said before glancing down at her cocktail dress and smiling.

"You like it? I haven't had much of a reason to dress up lately. I thought it was cute!"
