Yes it is a ridiculous statement. That's why it is in a comic strip, but its based on TRUTH. That's why it is funny. Is no one allowed to poke fun at the democrats anymore?

I guess I don't find a lot of truth in the statement that taxes are taken from those who make more money to redistribute it to those who are lazy, regardless of whether it's couched in humor or not.
