A part of my childhood is gone. Andy and I were in the same class every year. Chapman was an interesting school because everyone was friends with everyone except for one or two ostracized few. annie. you of all people i would love to talk to now.

hanging out in the near future and lost moments are the hardest to comprehend.

ken is an engrained memory who will never leave my silo.

Thank you for this, Annie. Meg told me about it because Joey sent it to her. The Chapman gang was amazing. God. 4th grade in Mr. O's class was easily one of the best years of my life.
Today was hard to believe. I felt like I was looking down on all of us from outside of my body. So many people were in that church - Mrs. Yuzon, Mrs. Meier, Mrs. Carver, all the Chapman parents, all the Chapman kids. So many more that I didn't see. A big group of people that hadn't been in the same room at the same time for probably 7 years. And may never be again. It's sad that this had to be the reason.
I thought about Ken all week. He and Andy were special.
Hope you're doing okay.
