So today Martin and I both had the day off so we decided to splurge and blow some money at Myrtle Beach. There's a alien exhibit there that we've been dying to go to since it opened. Martin is outrageously scared of aliens, so that was good fun for me. I even got a little Alien Encounters coffee mug

I LOVE AQUARIUMS. Every new place I visit, I have to do two things: go to a small, local bookstore and buy a book, and visit whatever aquarium/zoo they have nearby. Manta ray petting pool! I'm jealous.

Have you ever read the book "Mothman Prophecies" by John Keel? It'll keep you awake at night, it's great.

I love aquariums as well. Any museum really... the weirder the better. And the rays were super cool and friendly.

And yes! I have read it a few years ago and LOVED it. I keep meaning to reread it though, so I think that will be my next book I will read. I think the movie is based off that book if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for the reminder :)

The Aquarium in Gatlinburg is way better that Myrtle Beach's. I wanna watch Mothman Prophecies too but I'm afraid it will be too freaky D:

there's apparently also another much better aquarium in carolina beach as well, so i may go to that one next time. i've been to gatlinburg a long time ago and loved it there, but i didn't see the aquarium.

and the mothman prophecies is way freaky, but also totally awesome. i recommend it definitely.
