Oh wow, that's gorgeous! I love the details on the sword, the falling stars (?), the pile of skulls ... and I must say that Dean in black armor is kind of easy on the eyes. *g*
I love the silvery metal/curtain effect! It really looks like bright light is shining off the sword. The pile of skulls are creepy. I hope the stuff falling from the sky aren't actually skulls. D: The semi-transparent armour is also really cool. Since I don't know the series very well, I don't get the significance of the details, but I am sure they are there. :)

I won't go into the elements as the series (imo) is worth watching and I don't wish to spoil you. But I do understand that it isn't everyones cup of tea. Once the idea came to me, I wanted to draw that semi-transparent armour. I had a lot of fun figuring out that aspect.

that's actually possible since I constructed (winces at choice of word)... The picture is drawn in separate, individually painted layers. I have an armour drawing which I merged into the main picture.

The way you've created the image has so many parallels to themes within the show - like the ghostly armour hinting at what Dean may become as a vessel for Michael. Extremely cleverly & beautifully done!
This is amazing! Absolutely gorgeous! Breathtakingly so! Bluespirit_star shared her excitement over it and I just had to leave a comment about how utterly beautiful I think your work is! Words really don't do it justice. But I tried. =D

Yes, Dean is the Michael Sword! My 'goal' of the piece was that draping, supernatural armour.
