I have asked the mod if animals are allowed and he/she approved, and second icon is made from THIS PHOTOSHOOT of Taylor Swift, which looks vintage :D

lady_kingsley did indeed follow the rules and her icons fit the requirements.

This community is not strictly vintage (which is a very difficult notion to define), it is a place where you can make icons with three general themes: costume/historical movies and shows up to 1969, fantastic/fantasy productions and vintage inspired/old Hollywood glamour. The basic rule is that it should not look contemporary or everyday like. It opens a very large range of possible themes and interpretations, which encouraged and welcome.
Therefore a vintage inspired photoshoot or an animal from a fantasy movie are perfectly acceptable.
