MCM EXPO, London. Yesterday

Well- yesterday was our big trip to Expo.   This was Open Day mk. 2 - Ceri and Rachel, who ended up not being able to make it to Germany this summer, got to come play Components.  Ross and Jess got to reprise their appearances as Purse and Krupp, and Mazz was far more comfortable as her natural character, Wrench.  Did mean we didn't have an Engine

I checked out Ceri's photos on FB - they're great! Wow. Yes, you did not look terribly well... and what a bummer, not being allowed to skate inside, and even more unpleasant, having cosmically-Disapproval-rated Muslims Resenting the cosplayers! Yeah, real Peace, Freedom, Light and Love there, obviously. It must have felt like being Disapproved of by a thousand Grandmas, all at once.

Still... StEx awareness-raising all done, very thoroughly, and much fun had by most!

We will have a Good Lunch tomorrow, down 'ere.

The costumes are awesome! It makes me want to learn to skate and join in the fun. Maybe I can convince Jen to make a StEx costume for next Halloween with me....or perhaps save up enough money for another costume venue

At the risk of stating the obvious and being embarrassing, Belle made all these costumes... she takes commissions from overseas, too!

Unfortunatly I have no money so no costumes for me, commissioned or otherwise.

Seeing the wonderful costumes inspired me to try to make one. I also want to be a part of a costumed group of wacky, geeky people
