why hello jen! i think i missed you by a couple minutes at the mink when you were in houston a few months ago. john calero was like, "jen's about to be here!" but my friend wanted to split (she hates the mink) so i had to book.

oh, that's all right--it's not like john and i are bff or anything, just acquaintances with mutual friends.

things with me? just lawyerin', though overall im pretty happy. not gonna lie, though, things were a little dark there for a while when my ex left me, that was pretty devastating. but, im finally over it (well, as over it as a person can be, you know), and now i just focus on buying fancy suits.

yeah! hanging out! show me around college station, ive never been! or help me buy sunglasses! i owe you a vespa ride from 2003!

yeah, he and i aren't best buds either or anything, just former co-workers who hang out and get into mischief from time to time.

my ex and i split about a year and a half ago, so i know what you mean about going through that dark time for a while. i was the one who left, but it was still pretty tough. things are going really well now and i'm happy. i'm hoping to move back to austin fairly soon, especially since i'm there every week anyway.

if we're going to hang out somewhere besides houston, it should be austin and not college station. that should be fairly self-explanatory.
