OMG...Lexie is my new hero. I'm from southern WV (yes southern and the panhandles are very different....) and I say Pop and tennis shoes...btu they don't up in the eastern panhandle on the border to maryland where I go to school. My roommate and I (hometown best friends) usually argue over it with our "Yankee bitch" friends

As for other words...I have no idea haha I don't realize I say things other peple don't until they tell me. Except long Is in words but that's just a hick thing. lol

Gotta love us Southern rednecks. We're fun times. lmao

heh sorry, I forget some people don't get that. Like, you know how WV is like roundish with a part sticking out the top and out the side? well, the top is the Northen panhandle and the side one is the Easter Panhandle.

I got 14% dixie I am the duke of yankeedom :) I was so happy to see italians on there, you don't know how many times I've ordered a roast beef italian and there have been all these other meats on it! I usually say coke and running shoes. I think when I'm casually chatting there are some words specific to maine that sneak out. I say wicked a lot. And I actually do say ayuh but not the way all the stupid maine imitators pronounce it, its a lot softer and sounds like yeah. We call walmart wally world and the store target is pronounced with a soft french g. The word that throws most out of staters is digger or stove. Digger=fall and stove=destroy. So...my car took a digger and done stoved it up wicked good. But you can't really go by me for new england, I'm from northern maine and its an entirely different culture.
On that test what bug are they talking about? I don't know of any bug that rolls up when you touch it

I'm from the South East of England. I say "fizzy" instead of "pop" or "soda" and I say "trainers" instead of "tennis shoes" or "sneakers."

Greta idea - it's funny to find this all out!
