Wow. Yes, this is brilliant. And I absolutely love Carpe Jugulum for these exact reasons. Pratchett is really unsurpassed as a fantasy writer/amateur philosopher. I have known no other author to be so consistently right and thought-provoking.

As ever, this is insightful and moving. The world is a better place, in however small a way, for your having found the courage to tell your story.
