It sounds like they're trying to offend nobodybellatrysOctober 8 2008, 13:14:28 UTC
and will only succeed in alienating everyone as a result, not defending the founders and wishy-washily saing they want to sell ice cream to EVERYBODY!! (So didn't Coors, iirc, money having only one color and that being green...) Which is the appropriate consequence imo - the Bat in the War of the Birds & the Beasts.
But I'm very suspicious of the notion that the founders are just promoting it out of the goodness of their hearts - if nothing they must be getting paid for their speaking services (and that is often not chump change, iirc Ann Coulter gets like $10k for an event) but I am very strongly suspicious that they're still drawing a paycheck, too, if only in the form of stock dividends or whatever (owning no stocks, I am not sure of all the terminology). This keeps on being the case with all these people like Cheney or this guy (?Davis?) with the McCain Campaign who "are no longer associated with the company" only surprise! they still are, they're still profiting off it.
