Must be a lot of laptop users?

I tried to participate, but I'm too ignorant to know what the capital initials mean, or those numbers underneath. This thing is ten years old, if that helps.

sorry, LCD is the flat-panel style, like on a laptop bellatrys August 11 2007, 22:58:45 UTC
and CRT is Cathode Ray Tube, like a television, the traditional kind with the glass front and the big back. If yours is that old you must have one of them, I bet.

Yep--it's a big old monster, I hope not killing me with toxic rays. It's probably thirteen inches, not fifteen--but it seems like a giant one after the years with the previous 11 inch.

I had a 13" fixed-resolution Mitsubishi for years - I still have it, it's my backup monitor - but it would get to the point where I couldn't do anything on it any more because my headaches were so bad. Decent little LCD monitors I think are now under $200, new, and you can really read small text on them a lot better than on a flickering CRT, even a very nice Trinitron one, imo.
