*hugs and nuzzles* I'm so sorry that this is happening. It reminds me of how stressful school was and how expectations can seem like little, stupid to get worked over but they aren't to you yourself and can pile up...

Hang in there, bb. Make 'em understand by what you DO rather than what you SAY or they won't get it. Parents are like that. V.V;

Do you have a faculty or program or career advisor you can speak with at school? I was the faculty advisor for my students and I helped a lot of them through the types of stress and tensions that happen when in school.

There are also web sites you could check out that help you figure out what careers you might want to pursue given your interests.

Believe me, for most students, family is a major trigger. Pressure to go to school, or be in a certain program, or get certain types of grades ... as if we don't give ourselves enough to worry about to begin with!

Try to get some sleep darling - without sleep everything feels worse and worse, can lead to depression and catastrophizing of events. And without sleep, yeah, your immune system drops and you can get a lot of colds and sickness.

And I agree with the comment above about DOING over SAYING. Most parents chill out a bit if you can wave something at them that you are DOING (going to library for reseach, book you brought home to help with an assignment, work you are doing etc)
