It was amazing how easily people could be roped into doing things they didn't want to do. Castiel knew this after his years of being mortal, but it still interested him to great extents. He watched the man who looked similar to him let out a big breath. Smiling, he asked, “Something wrong, Jackson?”
Jackson raised his eyes and looked at him, pupils dialted and cheeks somewhat red. “I'm hungry.”
“Ah, a case of the munchies,” the ex-angel grinned. “There's a solution to that. Let me borrow your phone.” Castiel held out a hand as he watched Jackson pull a cell phone from the pocket of his jeans, holding it out to him. He took it and stood up, exiting the basement for a few minutes to get better reception.
When he returned, the smile on his face dimmed while he sat down across from Jackson. “Where's my phone?” Jackson frowned.
“I left it up there,” Castiel shrugged.
“And who'd you call?”
He let out a sigh. “Are you always this suspicious?” Jackson nodded in response, the drugs finally setting in that were snuck in his drink. “If you must know, I called for some food at the place down the road.”
“Oh. How long'll that take?”
A ring of the doorbell made Jackson smile and Castiel got up. “Obviously not very long.” He got up and went back upstairs, feeling somewhat hungry himself. He paid the delivery guy with some cash that was lying around before taking the food and shutting the door behind him. “I bring you the gift of noodles,” he announced as he made his way back down the stairs. “Tell you what, these are clearly one of the best things God invented.”
Jackson gave him a curious look, but shrugged. “Stop yapping and gimmie some food.”
Castiel sat down the bag and pulled out the container with the noodles. Upon opening the lid, both of the men basked in the scent of the food before digging in.
The noodles were nearly gone and Jackson had the last forkful. Castiel pouted slightly at him. “I paid. I should get the last bite.” Jackson proceeded to get most of it in his mouth while shaking his head. A few long strands of noodles hung out of his mouth and Castiel decided to use his own fork to hold them up for a bite. Jackson shot him a strange look, furrowing his brow.
With a smug look, Castiel slurped up the rest of the remaining noodles, causing their lips to meet gently. Jackson bit off his end and pulled back, a blank look on his face. Feeling proud he got the last portion of noodles, Castiel chewed what was in his mouth and swallowed it down. The look of shock that appeared on the others face amused Castiel and he stood up. “I'll be back. Another phone call.”
As he made his way to the stairs, he glanced over his shoulder to see Jackson flop back onto the floor. A sly smile was on his face from what Castiel saw as he went back upstairs to make his phone call.
