That was wonderful and SO worth the wait!!! All this time I wondered what had kept Erica from their date. I loved Erica going to get her hair done. How utterly sweet and shows how much she was looking forward to their date as well. Loved the part where Erica walked all that way to Callie's apt. I had to giggle at the part where no one stopped to help though! Who wouldn't be scared to stop to help the beautiful lady all dressed up with bright orange hair! Aw hated that Callie missed her messages but I am like her who checks their home phone anymore?! But the best part is that they are back together! You did a great job on this chapter! (and you made your 'deadline'-double yahs!!!!)
Yay! Glad you liked it. Definitely double yay for the deadline, it took some effort but now that its written i'm feeling much much lighter. :)
Oh the hairdresser... "Who wouldn't be scared to stop to help the beautiful lady all dressed up with bright orange hair!" Hahaha, thats a great way to put it. And you're right, who wouldnt indeed.
The hair didnt turn out as Erica planned, neither did the messages, nor did the date. though i dont think either of them are going to complain in the morning ;)

Definitely worth the wait Bella!!!! What I love about how you write is that it is so realistic. That is how Callie would think. I really love that Erica was more upset about her hair than anything that was great. Reminds me of my partner she would be most upset about that too :)
Looking forward to the last chapter with mixed feelings - sorry to see it end but glad it looks like it will have a happy ending.

Thank you Michelle!! This chapter being posted is really majorly thanks to you since you were the one that gave me the idea to put a deadline. You see, i really do work better under pressure. i have been laughing about Erica crying about her hair for weeks nows. Glad you enjoyed that. The last chapter shouldnt take too long to post since this was the big one. it seems unreal that its finaly coming to an end..
Glad to help. I am told I am pretty good at motivating my students to get their work in on time - guess it is a gift :)
I can imagine it is tough for you to bring this story to a close. You have taken us on a great journey with Callie & Erica. I appreciate the realistic and honest way you write them. I have enjoyed the story very much and will miss it :(
