I'm not terribly proud of my reading material so far this year... but I do have a few books coming along soon that will up my quality of read-material! Honest!

I picked up a couple of the Torchwood books in the bookstore and flicked through them - but there seemed to be practically no Ianto! Where was Ianto?

He didn't play a major role. They seemed to be mostly Owen and Gwen-centric, for some reason.

And personally, I thought Slow Decay was the best of the three. Another Life being worst and Border Princes in the middle, but *shrugs* that's just me.

I'd honestly say Gwen and Owen are my least favourite characters, so if the books focus on them I think I'll give it a miss!

I'm still working on Slow Decay...but I've read the other two...and...please don't throw stones...I agree, at least as of right now, that Princes was a really grand book.

As you said, these were meant to be fixes for me, to tide me over till the new season of the Doctor starts.

I felt so emotionally connected to the characters in Princes. And it was really well written to be easily put in line with the series.

Can't wait to let my mom read it and see what she thinks.

I had to laugh at myself, becasue I started off all WTF??? James??? But that scene on the train where Gwen looks at the page she saved "for Rhys" I actually gasped out loud! And I was so sad in the end :( The writer did a very good build up and really hooked me. I actually hope he writes more!

(I'm being deliberately vague incase peopel read this who havent' read the book yet! but you know what I mean!)

Yah. James makes my heart smile. Really. Hated him to start, more because I didn't understand him tho.

<3 him now though.
