The path of least resistance is catching up with me again today

The X and I have been broken up FOR YEARS now. Years and years. Still not as many as we were together, but getting there. Point: it's been long enough. So why do I feel like throwing up now that I've found out for sure that he's with someone else? Did I think by no longer having anything to do with him I'd somehow made time stand still for the both ( Read more... )

The noir shit was UTTERLY POINTLESS, but it did look cool.

And killing Lana is always good.

It really was, wasn't it? Possibly the most pointess Smallville writing ever. While watching it I actually had a moment where I realized I'd completley tuned out, and was just looking at the visuals. I was hoping they'd go to a really far off strange extreme and have the episode be the noir stuff from start to finish with no explanation, and have absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the season. Either that or play out as a playful look at where the characters are right now in the series as a lead up to the finale. OH WELL, IT DID LOOK PRETTY.

Yeah, I thought the episode was going to be randomly noir but in continuity, you know? Not a fucking dream sequence. What is this, a sitcom?

I was coveting Chole's jacket as well, though I told myself, "She's so tiny that if I tried putting that it would look like I'd stolen clothes from a Barbie doll." I didn't mind the pointlessness of the noir stuff because it was so pretty and well shot. Kudos to the production peeps!

This is true. Things always look better on super tiny people. It's funny because I don't always think of Chloe as super tiny (maybe because she's tough?), at least not in the way I think of Lana as tiny, but I bet if I saw her in real life I'd be shocked at how little she is.

WORD. And how stupid is it that my reaction to that news was to want to a) hit the exercise bike, and b) make chocolate chip muffins and eat them all in one sitting. I am of no use to the feminist movement. *g*

I really, REALLY, want to do a picspam of all the times characters have faux died on that show. Two of them faux died just in Noir alone.

PS. That icon is soooo pretty.

No, those are perfectly reasonable reactions to boys. At least they'll cancel each other out?

I can imagine that taking forever. However, if I see more Dead Lana, I'm fine with that.

Thanks! It's Cassie! Popping pills! I love her lots.

Potentially. Except for the part where it's so much easier to take in calories than burn them off. Whenever I work out and pay attention to how many calories I've burnt I get royally pissed off about that. Stupid food that tastes good but takes HOURS to burn off.

I can imagine that taking forever.

Wow. That's hilarious. I had actually sad that in the last comment, but then deleted it. Mind-reader. It might just be awesome enough to be worth it, though. You know, for the whole three people on my flist who still watch the show. Are you still watching S1 right now? I seem to remember you saying you were. Or that you were going to start?

However, if I see more Dead Lana, I'm fine with that.My hypothesis is that Lana has died the most. And I like to think it's because the writers hate her as much as I do. *g* I swear it felt like she died a zillion times in S5. Okay, maybe just twice, but still. And she died at least once in S4. And once so ( ... )

It IS Troy! I prefer him as Troy than as the character he plays on this show, but that's just because Troy was so charming. Too bad about the whole "is evil" part.

I looove Chloe. I wish she could somehow be on this show, and also on a wack of other shows all at the same time. The world needs more of her.

And she's most definitely sharing screen time with not!Troy

RIGHT?! Tom Welling totally has this weird hot camelian thing happening. I found him attractive in the first season because he wore these adorable long sleeved t-shirts and sweaters, and had really dark hair (sometimes I go cuckoo for super dark hair on a boy), and smiled a lot. But since then the only time I'm ever attracted to him is when he goes all evil and wears black (this show's not so subtle with its colour schemes). AND HERE, OF COURSE. It's like the hot is in there, it's just burried deep under the lameness of Clark farm boy Kent. SUCH A SHAME.

But I love that a lot of people seemed to have checked out the episode just because of how cool it looked. Too bad they allowed the story to suck so bad. Might have picked up new viewers. Not that they need it.

MAN, ERIN, IF VM COMES BACK AND SPN DOESN'T I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'LL DO. THERE MIGHT BE VIOLENCE. I'M COUNTING DOWN THE FUCKING SECONDS UNTIL WE FIND OUT.
