Hey.

I just wanted to thank everyone for some wonderful quality time. I really enjoyed catching up with you guys. Except for when Mike asked me how I got to be friends with you because I don't really fit in. Other than that, I enjoyed our holiday parties and get togethers immensely.

I'm home.

But I'll be going to Valpo next week.

Be back around the 23rd. Let's hang out.

What I won't miss about the Dominican Republic:

Waking up at 3 am because a 3 inch centipede is crawling on my hand.

So, I had a great time climbing Pico Duarte.  Well... for the most part.  It was WAY harder than I thought it would be.  We got to "base camp" on Friday, but didn't begin until 8am on Saturday.  We then hiked up 80% of the mountain... 8 am to 5 pm.  11 miles!  Up hill!  I was definitely not prepared for it.  After 3 hours I had to give my pack to ( Read more... )

I can’t believe it, but my time here is over half way done! In fact, I only have four more weeks of classes and less than 6 weeks left total. I can already feel the end of the semester crunch, and instead of resting during the typical 12-2 lunch and siesta time, I’ve been reading Caribbean history.
