I'm trying to make an 18th Century "Fairytale" gown for the Masquerade...not a period appropriate embroidery pattern on my fabric, but is sure is pretty & very pretty princessy---though not scary at all ;)
And on the Ren Fest stuff, yeah...you shouldn't have much of a hard time putting it together. I put my bodice together in 1 day (though it took me a couple of mock-ups to get the fit right). What are you thinking of making?

Last year I went to a Masquerade, hence the MA idea, but this year will be a little more "low key" if that's possible for me with Halloween, lol! :)
I'm thinking of either doing a Flemish working class ensemble with a kirtle and over gown, or if I go more upper class, something Tudor, but I don't love the sleeves of that period, so we'll see. I also love lots of different Florentine looks, and was originally going to do a medieval kirtle. *sigh* Choices, choices...
