Things I'd Rather Be Doing

I'm writing a paper, which means that of course I'm also reading fic. I really think that my papers are better when I read and write at the same time; I know it sounds crazy, but I seriously think it's true. Anyone else have this experience? I think it's part of my need to be doing twelve things at once to keep myself entertained while writing

I know! I love the Michael/Sara parts of this fic; their reunion is real and complicated here, and I love that. Still, the image of Michael's father carrying Sara out of the hospital is the one that really sticks with me, for some reason. The guy just fascinates me.
