New singer Anette...it threw me off, seriously. Like, listening to Bye Bye Beautiful, I was thoroughly confused until I remembered, "wait...Tarja left...who be this?" Her name is Anette and she's adorable and non-operatic...a non librettist lead Nightwish? Not sure if I can cope....

Anyways, the band Nightwish sort of disbanded when the lead singer Tarja left because she couldn't stand being a non-libretist. Youtube the group and listen Bye Bye Beautiful compared to things like Over the Hills and Far Away or Nemo.

it sounds more similar to the new 'haircore' stuff (I think that's what they call the genre i'm thinking of) of late. well, their newer stuff.
