This is so, so PERFECT! It's exactly what I wanted! All the children in Adam's class were great choices; I adored Dean as Castiel's BFF and how he cut his own hair to match Cas. Michael as a doting father is precious, as is kindergarten teacher! Adam. And the end was sweet! Thanks so much for this, bb!

I'm so, so glad you like it! The kids were so easy to pick and I just couldn't not make Dean and Cas BFFs. I rather love doting Michael in any form. Again, so delighted you enjoyed!

It's everything Lady said and more. I love how Adam has a soft spot for people raised by single parents, how Michael thinks Adam's pretty much a dunce at first. But the hair thing! Oh my gosh, Gabriel. And Ruby's possessed. And Dean. DEAN. Of course he'd beat up everyone who made fun of Castiel. And the poor bb trying not to cry, too precious! Friggin' beautiful, all of it, I just can't.

Thank you so much! I think Adam would have a soft spot given his upbringing. Gabriel just causes trouble whereever he goes and whatever age he is and Dean is just love! Damn right he's not going to let anyone upset Cas. Thank you so, so much. Honestly, I squeed so much when I got this comment.

Oh, I love this. I love Adam's little classroom and all the details of the children, his vivid impression of Michael and how that changes over time. Dean and Castiel were absolutely adorable and perfectly in character even in miniature! <3

The tone of this was so wistful, but there was also something lovely and understated about the quiet moments when Adam would muse about some new observation or theory, and I loved that. I really like the idea of him as a teacher, I think he'd be good with children.

I'm so delighted you enjoyed this. I *heart* tiny Dean and Castiel far more than I should. Dean is such a stubborn little kid. I feel for his parents.

I think Adam would be good with children. I think he would have been a fantastic doctor and probably worked with sick children if, you know, the show didn't keep killing him.
