1. First, you guys need to listen to this. It's Podfic for my story ' Say Yes' which is Adam/Michael with dubious consent. I can't stress enough how amazing it to hear this being read out. I'm not sure how to squee without sounding as if I'm praising myself because that isn't what I mean. I'm just amazed hearing the words I wrote come alive.

2. I'm ( Read more... )

supernatural, gabriel/sam, rambling, podfic

1. I don't think I've actually ever listened to a Podfic or even a book recording. I like reading the text myself, but then again, I never tried it, so I'll have to.

2. You? Make 5k? Of course you can. ;) Good luck and have fun, sweetie. ♥

1. I love audiobooks. I have a monthly subscription to an Audiobook company so I get a new book to download every month. I listen in the car, when I'm doing housework, I have it on instead of music. But even with my complete love of audiobooks I'd never considered Podfic before. It's like a whole other experience.

2. I know. But I have my Adambangs to consider too. They need to come first.

That podfic turned out exceptionally well. I'd read the story, of course, but I realised I was absorbing a lot more detail when hearing it read aloud. I'm in the majority group of audio/visual learners, though, so it isn't surprising. XD It was awesome.

I'd be keenly interested to read a dark teenage!Sam/trickster!Gabriel story written by you. As discussed, there are merits. ;)

I felt I got a lot more of the emotion from it when it was read out which is weird because I wrote it, but yeah.

I think I'm pretty sold on writing it. I've loved the challenge of writing to the bang specifications and 5000 words should be pretty easy.
