Absolutely. I know they say 'never judge a book by it's cover' but if its really pretty or interesting... I can't help but pick it up and read the summary. One of my favorite covers in case you were wondering is The Time Travelers Wife... so pretty and simple.

RIGHT?? I mean sometimes it's false advertising but a pretty cover can really draw you in. And on the other side of the same coin, if the book has a really boring cover it might take me longer to read it.

Yes to all of this. lol. We are such visual people though, it isn't surprising. I've also noticed that some photos are used on more than one book. This REALLY bothers me. I don't know why... but I feel like it should be an individual thing.
