Ack, I haven't heard of any of those. *puts those books on my 'to read' list*

They're all great books. The ones by Meg Cabot have the elements of romance, supernatural powers, and girls who kick everyone's butt. Tamora Pierce's books are sort of set in medival times, but in a land called Tortall. They also have some elements of magic to them and a little romance. Charlaine Harris' books I read recently and they are great vampire books, though the aren't the same kind of vampires that the Cullens are.
