I didn't post this yesterday because I really wasn't it a fit state to write yesterday. We had to put down my dog of sixteen years because her liver was failing and she wasn't eating. I just didn't want to write anything, I was too sad. I'm still having a hard time with it. I keep hearing her panting or her collar jingling but she's not there.

How do they combine birthdays and vampires?

Thanks for the hug. They combine birthdays in different ways. In Charlaine Harris' story, it was Dracula's B-day, practically and national holiday among vampires. In another the vampire featured was having a birthday and had to make an annual kill to stay alive. In another a girl found out she was a vampire on her b-day, similarly a different story had a woman turned on her birthday. It was very interesting and some where very funny.
