Someone who knows I like Avatar showed this to me, and my first comment was, "Why isn't Aang's arrow tattoo bright blue like it's supposed to be?" The trailer didn't make me want to throw things, but there wasn't much shown to begin with. I'm going to wait for the next trailer--and hope that it's more detailed and shows some of the other characters--before I start letting my hopes rise or fall.
I'm still miffed that the director (whose last name I can't spell and don't feel like looking up), for whatever reason, seems to think that Asian, Native American, or dark-skinned actors aren't good enough to portray Asian, Native American, or dark-skinned (in the case of the Water Tribe) characters.
... Which is interesting given the fact that Mr. M. Night is of color.
At least the costumes are pretty, yes? Except that Zuko's douche ponytail was removed from his head and placed on the helmets and now the Fire Nation troops look like the Riders of Rohan.
