I'm 20, almost 21. From Ireland. White, straight, pretty much belong to one of the more privileged groups. But I am exploring feminism and the dynamic between women and "sex workers" (as I am one) who seemingly are not seen as women worthy of feminism in my personal experience. Mainstream feminism definitely has its own problems, due to the history of it being a movement of rich white women fighting to be allowed to work -- when all poor women and women of color had always worked! I think that is part of the anti-sex-worker trend in mainstream feminism too.
Intersectional feminism is more my thing, based on the idea that you literally can't fight sexist oppression unless you also fight racism, ableism, transphobia, sex worker phobia, classism, etc, because all oppression reinforces other oppression.
