I love this, particularly the image of you stroking your partner's dragon wings, and everything you said about religion resonated a lot for me.

oh that is lovely to read, thank you! Though I am a little confused because I didn't think I was talking about religion? are you referring to the stuff about Quakers?

Well the Quaker stuff definitely - I've always been pretty attracted to their way of doing things - but I think I meant spirituality more than religion specifically... Like where you're talking about a heart-shaped rock having meaning because you decide it does...

You're welcome, and yes I did mean that, especially the belief that everyone has the ability to find truth and create meaning, like you said.

I relate to a lot of this. Being analytical, creative and curious are a big part of me as well. I love analytical question sharing in order to connect. You made me think about my own creative outlets as I consider myself creative but am often bad at getting around to creating content to share that I believe others see as mattering so it's interesting to see you do count the smaller things as being creative as often in day to day life, I tend to be creative in 100 smaller ways and worry about the unpresented radio show, the unwritten book or the unmade movie that I can't seem to focus on making happen. So you taught me these are things to value too or do have value. I love to create and share. It's a big part of me. Graphic designing interests me to learn and I discussed this with Brian too, before you wrote this post. I've seen the fractal art others make and love it :-) I also have a fascination with lights and light relfections.

I really love the entry that this inspired you to write! I do think it's so important to celebrate the small, informal expressions of creativity.
