haha! I only recently realized that I like horror -- I am just picky about it. Lost Girl is technically horror, and lots of Sheri Tepper books are horror -- they're just not the 'visually grotesque scenes interspersed with walking slowly through dark places' kind of horror.

Ditto about long-form storytelling! And movies tend to be worse for representation because there are fewer characters you can give full attention, so tv shows have more interesting characters.

Netflix is one of my go-to de-stressers as well. I wish I had a room to tidy up right now... I have my car, but out of respect for my partner's OCD tidying that would include a lot of lysol spray and when I'm really low energy I don't have the motivation to deal with the fumes.
