That's a definition of deity I haven't really seen before, makes sense coming from you though. :) I love the images your concept evokes.

Do you see spirit in a systems sense, so for example, the human being is a whole blueprint whereas the human heart is also a whole blueprint and a heart cell, etc.? Going the other way do cultures, groups of humans have a soul?

By that definition, one could see a neural network becoming deified. Not arguing or complaining, just an interesting consequence.

Absolutely. I see no distinction -- I don't think all deities are worshipped, nor are followers necessary for a deity to exist (though they can be created this way, I feel).

like... I think a deity can talk to trees, cats, microbes, etc, and understand their communications. I'm not sure what you are asking?
