I no longer believe in an afterlife / beings are composed of memory, we are one consciousness

I used to believe in a self that existed as a whole after death, that moved to another kind of existence in an afterlife. As a tiny child I believed in heaven as envisioned by me -- a huge flat place, mixtures of gardens and clouds, with the occasional gem-encrusted castle and the most bright yet soft light. Loved your thoughts and definitely agree with the idea of universal consciousness. Every life experience is added to the collective upon death. Whether we choose to recycle and collect more experience for the collective memory is up to us.
