dream (up rickety staircase, down in elevator) / frustration w/ too heavenly minded for earthly good

Last night I dreamed of a place I've been at least twice before in dreams: a VERY tall house (I've never seen the ceiling) with an open, windowed side allowing a balcony on every level of the house. Like before, there was a staircase twisting up and up through open air. (like a cross between this, this, and this) I climbed and climbed and felt I ( Read more... )

I like your analysis!! Good on you to be able to make sense of your own dreams; I always feel like I'm too close to my psyche to ever figure out the messages, even if they seem clear to people close to me.

thanks! Mine are usually super obvious to me, but then someone else will comment and I will realize a whole new level; interpretation is as magical as the thing itself!

I spent some time in different circles when I was sort of first starting on my spiritual journey, and I think I sort of know what you're talking about. It's like, they are so engrossed with their own 'evolution' that they don't consider it might be helpful (or necessary) to bring all that understanding and compassion back down to the ground to help others (and not in a holier than thou kind of way -- I mean genuinely doing things to help others). What I've discovered on my own journey is that it is so important to bring 'down' the insights and wisdom into the every day life, to help on the more 'mundane', every day level, otherwise one ends up getting rather top heavy ( ... )

I love those dreams that revolve around a house that you may or may not have been to in reality. Most of my dreams take place in the house my grandparents lived in when I was little.

Also, yes, suggested donations. That's a ticket. I mean "donations yay" is understandable - but having a minimum donation... Not so much.

I loooove all the houses that my subconscious creates. They're the most beautiful I've ever seen, though often wildly impractical.
