I feel like back in the day, (way, way, back in the day) when I was like 8 or 9, (back when my parents took me to church and were in the midst of indoctrinating me into their religious beliefs), I had a similar experience to the first experience you said... similar but different. Looking back, I realize it was nature (I was beside a river in a wooded and mossy area) that gave me a spiritual feeling. But at the time, because everyone around me told me it was a god, I adopted that label. Now I know myself and my feelings and my spirituality better, and I credit the intense feeling back then to my love for nature and it taking me over, without me realizing it at the time. I describe that experience, and a few others like it, as spiritual. Your experience reminded me of this
