Now that i think about this im gonna have to edit this entry, because its not quite right. I was thinking aboit one specific instance where someone i brought to the forest didnt interact with it at all except to comb the streams for mica to make into jewelry amd sell. It wouldnt have bothered me if that had been the purpose of me taking them there, but it really bothered me that they were doing that in that situation and without asking or even saying hello, as it were.

I sometimes take things like a bit of stick or a small rock if it is a place that is sacred to me. My favorite is a bit of litter, because it doesn't belong, but it has been 'imbued' with the spirit of the place and can connect me just as well.

Oh wow... I never thought about recycling as a spiritual connection. Will have to find a way to integrate this.
