There's this place I visit in dreams (only occasionally) that is so incredibly beautiful. It's old-growth forest with very little underbrush, lots of moss. Flat land with lots of cliffs, streams running through rocky gulleys, flat-banked rivers with trees reaching their roots into them and lots of soft grasses at the edges. Boardwalks going

It's really cool because mother-of-pearl knives *would* be really important to me, especially being found in a stream; knives and running water are both really important protective and cleansing symbols for me. Also, I had a mother of pearl handled pocket knife that I inherited from my mom and carried around for years, but have now lost.

(It was really neat getting your texts about it, but I was trying to figure out how to process replying and now my phone's dead.)
