I constantly have weird dreams, so it makes me feel slightly less deranged to see that other people have them too. My very off the cuff thoughts on them:
1. You're being chased by something you have a part of. So yeah, I think anything from your parents to your ex-partner could be relevant there. And then maybe the green gelatinous creature represents something similar to the thing chasing you? Perhaps you feel like something/someone who is trying to help you/rescue you/whatever has something in common with something you're trying to escape or scared of.
2. I have no idea what to make of this one because I don't know you or your friends well enough. BUT I totally know what you mean about a dream feeling like a memory. Those dreams always leave me with an odd combination of ecstatic happiness and utter melancholy and nostalgia. It's a very weird feeling, but I think I like it.
