I'm always torn by crowdsourcing-my-look polls. I've not ticked either box because both are adorable cuts and I think you could wear either well.
The fauxhawk suggests a fierce, sparky attitude to me (mosh pits at punk shows. It's illogical, but there's my associations), and while I could see that as one of your facets, I wonder how the fauxhawk would look un-poufed. Would it fit your gentler moods?
(honestly, in the pictures, the pixie cut from the bottom three makes me coo most. Probably because it reminds me of ladies from Julian Mandel photos; the "transgressive" hair of a bygone era.)
So I guess...whichever way you feel like going. But pix or it didn't happen. ;D
I'm the same way on those sorts of polls, at least for semi-major things like a several-inch haircut. I sometimes ask general opinions on what color I should dye my hair next, but that changes every month, so it's not a major investment.
Also, as a fauxhawk sporter who's never been in a mosh pit at a punk show, that amuses me greatly. :-)
Your hair right now is very cute, and generally I personally am not super into fauxhawks. BUT, I definitely believe in not getting overly attached to hair and in taking risks. So if you want a fauxhawk, I think you should go for it!
