I like that you're open to learning to love people who can't/won't/aren't ready to reciprocate. It's so much easier to love the people who love us back, but there's so much to learn from loving unconditionally.

I'm intrigued by the discussion on trans human rights that you went to and would love to hear about what may be going on in that community to work towards that goal.

This is something I need to work on myself, building trust. Past friendships that ended badly have made me wary of trusting anyone, even people I've already opened up to. I've been trying to re-teach myself to emotionally invest and not constantly worry about a poor outcome. I've learned from them, if nothing else.
