*high fives* Unfortunately, there are pompous trolls everywhere -and some of them just lurk in the hopes of finding a place to spew their noise at those by whom they feel threatened (those they feel inferior to).
You don't need that crap! *hugs*

well i'm glad you ran out of anger, but i can empathize with you! arrogant close minded people are so terribly frustrating.

*giggles* yeah, it was a short run. Just enough to sharpen my Blade of Righteous Anger. ;-p

You know what they say about arguing on the internet. :P I stopped years ago. Some girl in a community got mad at me over a decision I made with my own body and started debating it with me. I had to write in my user info that I don't argue with people. Especially on the internet.

crazy stuff! it's amazing how some people feel so okay with behaving badly because of the indirect nature of the internet. :-\

Well, if someone has something that wrong with what sounds like a good argument to you, quite honestly, I would just laugh at it. I hear that you got really angry, because it sounds like you weren't being heard, and that he wasn't taking you seriously.

Truly, people like that? I would just let them sail right over me because they obviously didn't hear that it was important to me, and so they aren't worth me talking to them about something, or that, at least. It just wouldn't be the right kind of conversation to have with them.

well, I got irritated but it faded quickly. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and treat them as if they are reasonable and open-minded at first, then if they prove to be less than that, I back out. What bothers me is the fact that other people might see their words and if there is no reply, might believe that those words are correct. I need to learn to let that go and say hey, I can't be responsible for what people might believe. ;-) Just gotta do the best I can and then leave it alone.
