yay, I'm so glad you love them! If you love them from the photo, you are going to be super-delighted when you actually put them on. This was my first time making something with opalite glass and I'm definitely going to have to do more! the way it captures the light is just gorgeous.

I think you ought to place your starting bids a bit higher personally. You don't want people to undervalue. You also might want make your text a little bigger and make more noticeable note of the fact that you yourself made these earrings. In skimming the listing (which is what most people will do) I didn't really notice that. Also I would have some policies and have a link to them and place the link or the text of them in the auction it makes you look like a more established seller. Adding something about how many pieces you've sold directly from your website would help greatly as well. On your about me page maybe you could add some satisfied customer quotes. Hope you don't mind my unsolicited advice. I've sold a few things on ebay. :-) Also you should check out hyenacart.com, I think you might find it a useful place to have the selling part of your website. I think you could easily build up a frenzy about your stuff there. Or on Etsy although I don't know as much about thme. Just an idea!

thanks for the great tips! I think I'm going to try etsy before I try ebay again, but all your tips sound really good and I'll remember them!

I think Etsy is a great idea! I have heard their fees are high there and you have to do a lot of self promoting. But I think your stuff would fit in really well.

Well, I see very late!

Hah.

I believe an equal amount in reason/facts and magic/fae :P

so do I, but I knew if I gave people that option, EVERYONE would choose it (I've made that mistake before!) -- I wanted people to actually think about it. It's pretty rare for people to actually feel the same about both, but it's pretty common for people to choose the middle option just to hedge their bets ;-)

Makes sense.
I ultimately went with logic and reason because I don't think that has to exclude magic and fae! Ultimately I think, with a complicated enough set of premises, that it would be most logical to include/believe in those things to some degree! So it seems included. Though not in the sense that many people probably think of reason/logic/magic/fae. I dunno.
