Knocked up wasn't a perfect movie by far, but it had potential. It was both enetertaining to a mass audience, and had the seeds of something with alot of heart. I don't know if Judd Apatow is ever going to make a movie that shows an independant, strong woman overcoming a life challenge (he really doesn't "Get" females for the most part) but perhaps, by showing everyone that a movie that makes people laugh, and makes alot of money doesn't HAVE to be American Pie or Scarry Movie- it will influence and encourage the person who IS going to make the movie that shows the world that women (or any one, regardless of gender) can be independant, self sufficient and STILL make it through life's tough times.

you guys seem like you had fun! i never knew that tree existed. if i ever go down to GA to visit my grandma i'll have to not bypass the Atlanta area like i usually do and stop by the tree. and i have to say i love the color of your eyes :)

Well, that tree is in Athens, but if you come down you have to visit me for a few days anyway, so maybe we can pop over to Athens! ;-) Meeting you is definitely on my list of things to do before I kick the bucket :D
