I remember picking up Jewel's album when I was about 13 and hearing that song for the first time. I put it on constant repeat any time I felt down. It just struck such a chord with me that it was almost like an anthem for my life at the time. It still has so much meaning to me even today. Wonderful choice! &hearts

:-) I remember when I first got the CD I listened to it over and over too! I can FEEL the truth of it, you know? and the part of me that hates cynicism takes wicked joy in the part about taking the food from the cynics and giving it to those who have faith ♥ (although the more literal part understands that it is the cynics who need love the most urgently)
