I used to write poetry. I haven't in ages though. Years really. I don't think other people "get it". I guess it's like how they feel about my car [a Scion xB...the little bread box on wheels] you either love it or you hate it. It's all so extreme. Then again, I think most people are indifferent anyway. I don't know what I think really. I just feel very disconnected.

And speaking of connections, I'm not sure what's happening with the postcard thing or which country you'd want a postcard from [since I live one place but spend a significant amount of time in and prefer the other] but none of this can happen if I don't have your address. Unless of course you changed your mind.

It takes a poet to 'get' poetry, really, so trying with anyone else is just a waste of time. :-\ And true poets are hard to find.

If you haven't sent the card yet, I want one from the place you feel is your home, probably 'the other.' ;-)

You should be getting mine soon (I mailed it sunday) and please acknowledge I used to have a beautiful hand writing, but since I no longer write stuff by hand well, well when I do, I'm rusty. It would be appreciated if they made postcards with lines, when there is lines, my hand writing is so much better. So I in return apologize for what looks like doodling. lol

Oh no, I could read it very easily -- compared to mine your handwriting is neat. And I can read a lot about you in it. Handwriting-study is one of those things that I'm fascinated with. ;-)

a postcard from the largest city nearby will work fine if you can't find one for your actual city. ;-)

oh I found saskatoon ones. it was just hard to find ones with good pictures - a lot of places put their postcards away when summer's done.
