Jodie Foster in Japan

Jodie Foster came to Tokyo recently to promote her latest film The Brave One.  I recorded two interviews -- the first one is from "King's Branch" (Neil Jordan's interview included), and the second one is from "Eigo de Shaberanaito (Let's speak English)."    The latter is an English education program, so the interviewer's English isn't very good ( Read more... )

I saw the first one from the 'King's Brunch' but not the second one. While watching the program I had a thought that you might recording the interview & post it here. Ding !! I was right, haha !
I liked Jody's 'Panic Room' & 'Flight Plan' as well.
Most of her chosen roles are very energetic & challenging. I didn't see her performing a sweet & lovable lady. I don't feel like watching this movie cuz it might make me tired, lol !
Thanks for posting Bel.

Well, you got me right there Nelly. "King's Brunch" is my 'regular' show to watch, only that movie segment.

Can you imagine if Jodie Foster plays a sweet & funny & romantice role in a romantic comedy? I don't think she will pull it off, but I wanna see it in a twisted-mind way. hehe.

Out of the topic btw, did you tape the appearance of Matt Damon in 'Bistro Smap' ? My husband have it recorded but I
haven't see it yet. I'm just curious on how he talk & enjoy 'SMAPS' menu. Well, hope I could watch it tonight.

Okay, if Jodie ever does a romantic comedy, we should go see it together!

I saw 'Bistro SMAP' with Matt Damon, but didn't record it. It was very nice and he enjoyed the dishes a lot. If you upload it on YouTube, you'd better not use the word 'SMAP' in full because Johnney's is very strict about that.

Hey, thanks for posting! I loved the movie and I thought the interviews were pretty funny, especially the second one - "Human dignity?" :) Jodie is very sweet and understanding, as you wrote. :)

Thanks for coming over to comment!

Yeah, that 'Human dignity' question was kind of out-of-blue. It was actually the subject of that show at that espisode, that's why the interviewer brought it up.

I love your icon btw. Really cute!
