I agree. She sounds so ordinary and I love that. I'd be scared to meet my 'idol' in person... I'm more afraid what it she/he was not as nice as I had expected.
Yeah, I saw so many post on ONTD campaigning not to see this movie. Although I think those negative reviews must have reasons for, I still want to see it. It probably won't get released in Japan, so I'll have to get the dvd from US.
Usually, I am the kind of person that HATES making a big deal out of celebs. I can't even imagine going upto them or say hi. It's just too odd. They are just human beings. Besides, I think I have the irrational insecurity of them totally ignoring me because I would take it personally. Even though it would be on them if they are assholes. I won't see it that way at the time. And get totally crushed. Esp if I liked them.
But I can honestly say, if I ever ended up on the same plains as Keanu somehow, I have no idea how I would respond! It would be the most brilliant amalgamation of shock, hornAy, respect, love, and utter awe. I can honestly say, I have been obsessed with stuff before but never, srsly considering 'whatever will i do if i ever met him' kind of obsessed. This is scary, even for me.
ONTD gets all uppity with rom-coms most of the time. It's the only reason I would've watched before and it is the only reason I will watch after all those bad reviews.
If I ever see a celebrity whom I admire, I'd like to be cool enough not to bother them, but I don't know how I react, either. If I sit next to that person in a plane, I'd probably just say something like, 'Hi, I always like your work' or something, and if the person responds nicely, I may ask to shake hands... But it'll never happen because I don't think I'd ever get travelled first-clas.

It's strange that I can't watch the clip on Conan's website now. I still can watch them here, so it's okay but... I hope you can watch them as she's Wham it up!
