While I love foreign TV series such as "Prison Break", I also like to watch Japanese TV dramas.  One of the dramas I was watching from April and has just finished is a comedy where a 60-year old guy falls in love with a 30-something woman, which kind of reminds me of "Something's Gotta Give."  Well, very different.  Probably totally different.   ( Read more... )

My oh my ! You made me feel like watching 'Something's Gotta Give' today!
So you watched that drama series of Sakai Masaki. Maybe they just copied some ideas from
'Something's G.G.'. Oopps ! I shouldn't say this as I didn't watch the drama. I wasn't interested in the cast so I passed watching. Bel, the line "Can I do it with this person' ?, that is sooo true. Just thinking of it makes me *ewww*, LOL !

Keanu, Keanu.....He really is a free spirit, huh ! I'm glad I'm not that obsessed anymore but I still like him, of course. I wish we could hear some 'real good news' about him not like those WTF recent news (if you know what I mean) Hmmn.....

Yeah, I was watching that drama. I like the actress, Natsukawa Yui, so I watched it.

Keanu seems to have a family/friends reunion in France/Italy according to the recent pics and of course there are a couple of 'suspicious' ladies. I'm not sure what you meant by 'wtf recent news' if you meant something other than his gal pals.... Anyway, yeah, I'm glad that I'm not obsessed with him much unless he's tied to Sandy. It would have driven me nuts if I were because he's just with a bunch of women, like every week!

Oh, I'm sorry about the harsh words.
I meant, I wish I could hear much better news not like those Keanu's jumping with a bunch of women news only. It's kind of disappointing. Well, it's his life & I have nothing to do with it anyway, *shrugs*.

Oh no worries about 'harsh words', I mean, which was harsh? You can never be harsh! You're too nice for that. hehe.

Yeah, it'd be nice if we actually see him committing to one special woman for a change. I'm kind of amused though, you know, how can he handle all those women?

Something good for lunch?

Oh, you make me wanna watch that film now! I only watched it a few weeks ago, though. I love it. (And then I always think of the Richard & Judy interview that Sandy and Keanu did, when she's going on about it. "You kissed her on the couch, and then chased her out of the room. I got none of that!" Oh, the memories.)

I personally can't see the appeal in a much older guy. It makes me think of the guy as a perve and a bit creepy, really! Sure, they might have money or be well-established in life, but you're not going to have anything in common. Then again, I'm happy that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones seem to make it work, so I'm sure there's an exception to every rule! Thank goodness it's on TV in this case, and not real! :D

I think this movie is one of the best rom-com in past 10 years. I want to watch it again. Yeah, I remember that, then Keanu said, "You might have one soon." hehee! I wonder what they did between the interviews!

Well, I'm okay with older guy, but he has to be sexually attractive to be 'together'. There are lots of older attractive guys, but they're attractive intellectually and/or culturally or... you know. I think Michael Douglas was hot when CZJ fell for. Well, this kind of stuff may become a bit more realistic to you when you become 30, Cec!

Yeah you're right, I guess I'll have to wait! ;) Having said that, if Colin Firth/Johnny Depp/Keanu Reeves/Wentworth Miller approached me when they're sixty, I wouldn't say no! *giggles* I'm just a little wary of those relationships where one person is 25 and the other is 50, because you're at such different stages of your lives. But each relationship is different, so I guess you can't make one rule! As long as the people are happy, that's what counts. :)

I bet you wouldn't say no to those guys!

I think it all depends on how younger one could relate to the older one, and I also think if younger one is over 30, it gets easier because a lot, I mean, a lot of things happen in your 20's that affect the rest of your life (in general).

My theory why Lynn Collins couldn't keep Keanu is that she was too immature/young to accpet his complicated life, considering she's now married to a guy of her 8-9 years junior. I wonder how long Keanu's recent 'date' who looks quite young (not China Chow) lasts... none of my business, I know!

Hey Patience!

Of course I remember you, where have you been? Glad that you're back! And thanks for reading my fic. I've written a few and I hope you enjoyed them.

Yeah, I live in Japan and I was watching 'Around 40', too! I liked it. I remember you understand Japanese, right?

Hi Bel,

You remember me! Happy!

Haha, last year, i was busy with college application. Now all is done. I will be going to New York for college in Aug. Kinda exciting -- first time abroad!

So recently i wanna catch up some tv drama before leaving. Totally fall in love with Amami Yuki! Everyday go to Youtube to watch her videos, but don't understand what she's saying. Envy you -- you can understand them and can watch them in variety show!

I've forgotten Japanese. I learned it for one year as second language. But in China, we watch Japanese tv drama with chinese subtitle.
I plan to restudy Japanese in college! Because I really adore Japanese artist like Esumi Makiko, Amami Yuki.

Anyway, I'm back to livejournal and enjoy Keandra stuff~~

Morning, Paticne,

Wow, you're going to study in New York! I envy you! That's one of my favourite cities. I just loved walking around that city. I hope you'll enjoy staying there and maybe with luck, you come across with Keanu or Sandy or both together one of these days.

I like Amami and I've watched most of her TV dramas. So I guess you'll miss watching those Japanese dramas in New York, then... or you must be just too busy to even think about them!
